For actors — Stephen Book coaches actors for auditions, call-backs, and/or preparation after the actor has been cast. In essence, private coaching is the same as hiring your own private director. Private coaching is almost always related to the preparation of a specific part with specific material.

For directors — Stephen Book works with the director on various aspects of the director’s job, including: script discussions in preparation for writing revision meetings; discussions for script conceptualization; preparation for casting; script breakdown (scene by scene for performance goals); preparation for specific direction of actors; on set consultation; and editing consultation.
