An actor who has studied extensively with Stephen Book over the last twenty years, began teaching his first workshop group in 2006. His most recognized role is Benny Stulwicz, the developmentally disabled office clerk on the long-running, NBC series, “L. A. Law,” for which he won two Emmy awards and garnered three Golden Globe nominations. In addition, he has performed in dozens of feature films, television movies and episodics. Highlights include: “Overnight Delivery” (w/Reese Witherspoon), “Bean” (w/Rowan Atkinson), “The Journey of August King” (w/Jason Patric), “Darkman” (w/Liam Neeson & Frances McDormand), “Darkman II: The Return of Durant,” “Dr. Giggles,” “Blind Geronimo and His Brother,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Six Feet Under,” “Nero Wolfe” (w/Timothy Hutton) “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Runaway Virus,” “Prey” (series regular) “Dead Man’s Gun,” “Beast” (w/William Petersen), “The Outer Limits” (w/Marlee Matlin), “One More Mountain” (w/Meredith Baxter), “Murder In New Hampshire” (w/Helen Hunt), “Tales From the Crypt,” and “Dark Night of the Scarecrow” (w/Charles Durning).
Larry also has a wide-ranging theatrical background that has utilized his versatility in over a hundred starring and supporting roles at dozens of theatres around the country. He has appeared at South Coast Repertory, San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre, the Los Angeles Theatre Center and the Dallas Theater Center among others.
